Book Online

Please make sure you read our salon policies before booking.

Last-minute cancellations, no-shows and running late have a significant impact in our daily schedule. We have found that policies are the fairest way of managing our commitment to upholding timely appointments and keeping our costs down for our wonderful clients.

Booking fee policy

Booking fee is required for ALL bookings. Your “booking fee” is not an additional charge, it is simply held on an account for your booking and is included as part of the total service price. The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment within less than 48h notice your booking fee becomes non-refundable. It can be transferred to another date if a minimum of 2 days notice has been provided to us. This minimum notice period is necessary to give your hairdresser a fair opportunity to fill your vacant place.

Cancellation policy

Kiiko Hair Studio is a local business with a small team and a limited number of appointments available.

Once you’ve made your booking, the time allocated for your appointment is reserved specifically for you. We understand that due to personal schedule changes or unforeseen circumstances, you may have to cancel or change your appointment with us, but we simply ask that – in either case – you notify our team of your cancellation or rescheduling request at least 48 HOURS in advance. In order to respect the time of our staff and our other valued clientele seeking to make an appointment, Kiiko Hair Studio charges a cancellation fee on your subsequent appointment. Due to the nature of this policy, there will be no exceptions.
To avoid any accidental confusion, we send you a text message 48hours prior to your appointment to remind you of the date and time of your upcoming booking.

F.A.Q.

Do you have on-site parking?

Although the carpark next to our salon is reserved for other tenants, we have plenty of street parking available nearby to make your experience at Kiiko Hair Studio an easy and convenient one.  Feel free to park in the 2-hour spaces directly across the road from the salon, or if a longer time is required, you can use the unlimited parking spaces in the side streets nearby. Please allow time for parking and traffic to ensure a timely arrival to the salon and avoid us having to cut your appointment short.

What happens when I am running late?

In order to ensure you receive the full service you have booked in for, you must arrive on-time for your appointment – although we do understand that sometimes running late is simply unavoidable. If this situation arises, please make sure you contact us as soon as possible and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. However, please keep in mind that we may have to reschedule your appointment, or may not have time to complete the whole service; in which case you will need to make another booking.

Do I need a consultation appointment?

A consultation is required any of the following are applicable to you:

1. If you’re unsure of the service you are wanting.
2. You’re seeking colour correction services.
3. You have previously box-dyed hair.
4. You have brunette hair and are wanting to change to a lighter colour.

How can I prepare for my appointment?

1. Discontinue any low quality products you may currently use on your hair (check out our blog
for more detailed advice – click here). If you have been using hair products from supermarkets or chemists, we strongly recommend that you book in for detox cleanse treatment. This will help to remove any buildup of low-quality products and deep clean your hair for the best possible colouring work.
2. Wash your hair 1-2 days before your colour appointment. This allows your hair adequate time to make its own natural oil that serves to protect your scalp from the colouring process and some of the substances present in hair-dye products.
3. If possible, please brush your hair before coming to your appointment.
4. Prior to receiving any hair treatments, it is vitally important that you inform your stylist of any medical conditions and allergies that may lead to adverse reactions. NOTE: There are many medications that can interfere with hair colouring services.

Can I bring extra people to my appointment?

As much as we wish you could bring along a friend to your appointment, unfortunately we are only able to accommodate individual clients due to the limited space at Kiiko Hair Studio. Children are an exception to this policy – in line with our position as a family-friendly salon – however, to ensure the safety and comfort of all clients we ask that children are carefully monitored and accompanied by their respective adult care-givers at all times. With this in mind, please understand that in order for our team to be able to do our best work, we require you to stay still for the majority of your appointment and this may be hard with children around. The Kiiko Experience has been created for you to relax and take time for yourself, so we recommend making alternative arrangements with children for the duration of your appointment to ensure the best outcomes for both you and our other valued clients.
